About usFishing weight molds is run by Paul Adams, his wife Kathy and son Matthew. Our aim is to offer a wide range of equipment much of it difficult to source in the UK for the home tackle maker. We started off with supplying the UK and Europe with a large range of Do-it Molds, these put in simple terms are the best moulds in the world, without question. The range consists of sinker / lead weight moulds from 1/8th oz up to an incredible 5lbs now. Jig / Lead Head moulds from 1/32oz up to a 20oz giant for deep-water fishing, Lure moulds, Spinner Bait moulds and a wide range of moulding accessories. We now also offer a new range of moulds, ECON moulds available exclusively from us, these include pirk, lure, lead and jig moulds. For us the exciting thing is that we have an input into these moulds and plan shortly to plug a large gap in the market! Keep checking this website. Mathew with a 16lb Pollack taken on a small lead head fitted with a 5" plastic grub. Being fishing fanatics ourselves, we have been in the position to make the products and test them for ourselves before we offer them for sale and we only offer quality products. We have caught Pike to 27lbs on jigs fitted with soft plastics, Pollack to 24lbs, Cod to 29lbs. Bass to 12lbs on 1/2oz ball head jig made into a white buck tail lure, cast over rocks off Beachy Head on an incoming tide. The larger lead heads, the Spire Points in 6oz, 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz have been used widely in Norway by visiting anglers to catch massive Cod and Halibut. We also have several charter skippers who test our products for us. IF they don't work, they always tell us, bluntly !. We then added a range of Pirk moulds, again quality moulds producing boat-fishing lures cheaply and quickly. The famous Norway pattern being the most popular followed closely by the Yellow Reef. We have further patterns to add to this section this year, both established patterns and new ones. Now we have expanded further into lure making. We now offer a wide range of lure / spinner making supplies from blades, to bodies, skirts to trebles. This will also be expanded this year as things progress. We will continue to add to what we offer, soon to include sea fishing hooks, swivels, mono, crimps, beads, attractors, plastic bags, rig wallets, tools etc. Anything to make tackle with, that is what we are interested in. The Autumn 2006 will see us supplying fly tying equipment for the winter break all being well. To finish your lures / Jigs / Pirks, we will be offering different powder coat finishes, Holographic Glitters, Glow Colours. We will also be offering Luminous Paint kits for those who want to keep things simple. On top of this we will be showing you (when the photographer is free) how to finish your lures using a little imagination and know how. To add reflectivity to your lures, we will shortly be stocking a large range of pre cut shapes of Holographic Fish Scale Tape. This self-adhesive waterproof tape can be applied to your lures for a truly professional fish catching finish. On the site you will find a finished products page. On this page you can if you wish buy the finished products, painted and packed ready for use but the idea behind it was to show you what can be achieved, what the final product looks like and what is possible with a little imagination. If You have a little artistic flair, with our products, the sky is the limit. We endeavour to get your orders out to you within 48hrs but this is not always possible. From time to time, things will be out of stock. We try to avoid this but it is not always possible. If something you order is out of stock we will email you as soon as we know and let you know when it will be back in stock. If you are happy to wait, great, if not we will arrange for a refund and will let you know when it is back in stock. Tackle making is great fun. It is a hobby in its own right and can save you a small fortune. To produce a great lure and catch a big fish on it is a great buzz, almost as much as when you make it, lend it to a friend and he catches a fish of a life time. Another project pencilled in for this year is to start a gallery of your fishing photos. We already have a few and await others shortly. Come back and visit our site regularly and see if any of our new products are of interest to you. Good luck and good fishing. Paul.
